Bio
Pictures are taken, shots are captured, and for some, life can be lived through a photograph. Many times, everyday small details are overlooked and never remembered. In a time where the past is slipping away faster and faster each day, time is being captured.

Photographer Dan Gilday lives right in the thick of a Custom Culture world. A world where the lives of some are driven by a considerable underground of expression through their cars, music, and fashion. Dan captures the candid and sometimes overlooked details of this way of living for all to experience and enjoy.

His unmatched creativity is delivered via 35mm and the life he lives. His unique portraits of hot rod living have been sought after by many, including established publications and collectors, for his true and soulful approach of each and every shot.

Dan’s influences range from past punk rock heroes, present day fabricators, and everything in between. His projects are broad and potential limitless as demonstrated through his art and photography. May it be the antique mill of a resurrected jalopy of yesterday, the smile of an American made beauty sitting shotgun in some old iron, a lonely forgotten highway, or maybe just an old roadside sign, Dan’s imagination and perspective keeps true and alive for all to enjoy.
